Distorted patterns of madness, addiction and impulsivity destroy our lives and our loved ones. Maybe you are in a state of defeat or nearly giving up right now. Maybe you have always found love to be a struggle.

What if because love and truth are the most powerful energies on the planet, we actually have to acknowledge that they take some real skills, practices and conditionings to master, if we are going to become skillful?

Similar to going to a gym, learning a martial art or wielding a sword, our bodies, hearts and nervous systems MUST fully adjust, and to get good at training for greater expertise.

What if there’s nothing ‘wrong’ with you whatsoever for not having tools for love, because you were never or barely shown unconditional love? I was exactly where you are, for YEARS.

If love was modeled to you like it was to me growing up, it was a manipulation, even violent, mistrustful, painful, strategic, anxious and transactional interaction based on bending oneself to be pleasing, or shutting down to be protected. Knowing how to love skillfully through these models may allude you. And you are not alone! I’ve spent 25 years curating these practices and putting them to use in my own life. This retreat is now in its 7th installment and 6th year, it has helped hundreds of people, many of whom meet their special person and even return to do this retreat over again and again.

We have all been deeply hurt in love. We have all created behaviors, masks and personas to 'get love'. There is no shame in this, but the game can end here.

The variety of ways we turn away from love, and the escaping mechanisms we create from our lack of consciousness and practiced reactions, often creates the exact environments, circumstances and mindsets that keep love from reaching us and from becoming our natural reality.

Our fears, resentments, masks, validation seeking, grasping and narratives are all armors to prevent our opening in love and allowing it to catch fire for decades instead of fading. Keeping us juvenile not only in sex and love, but in our relationships with money, time, energy, focus and everything we create. The potency of this energy goes way beyond sxx.

The truth is, the presence of real love brings to the surface all of the most unlovable parts of ourselves to be witnessed and healed and given LOVE TO, not shamed.

Maybe you have felt rejected or abandoned in the past and maybe you have already done some or a lot of healing, but turning this healing and spiritual work into deeply nourishing sexual pleasure and hotness!? Well now, that's a WHOLE other story :)

Relating and creating relationships which can consistently retain their passion amidst the ebbs and flows of life take an entirely other skillset!

If you are single we first begin by practicing self love as the basis of our ability to offer a safe, deep and intimately alive partnership. This is the foundation of every relationship we have.

Those who can't go deep, go wide. Many false teachings, tell us to be polyamorous, move our energy around, play and explore widely and laterally. And while everyone is free to do as they please and we must experiment to know who we are, ultimately this leaking and sucking of empty sxxualized experiences will l take its gloves off and smack you around. I’ve seen it.

This way of interacting with our sexuality is often called Tantra but is actually not Tantra at all. True, mature, love and Tantra teaches us to revere our bodies as sacred, to actually refrain from promiscuity and to devote love to another as a prayer and spiritual path of God consciousness as a way of reaching enlightenment. It is another form of Brahmacharya. When you devote yourself to honoring yourself and (eventually) another, this is the highest spiritual work we can do. And it all starts with you.

Forgive yourself and learn how to see your perceived 'defects' and desires as gifts of new awareness, hold more capacity to be seen as your true divine innocent self, see others with purity rather than as objects, to stop people pleasing, listen and feel what your body's intelligence is saying, stop grasping to your habitual impulses that distract your purpose and  become a leader of love and truth on this planet.

We move and meditate here, but the yoga we are practicing is mainly focused internally.

Loose shorts, work out gear or thin cotton pants and tanks/shirts for men and the same for women. Many woman like to wear flowy dresses with shorts underneath or yoga gear.
